  • What do I need to listen to your Broadcast?: You will need to install on your Computer one of the following:
  • Winamp (recommended)
  • Real Player 8
  • Windows Media Player 7.1

  • Why doesn't the embedded Windows Media Player work?: Make sure you have the lastest Windows Media Player. install on your Computer.

  • Why can't I connect from my office?: Some corporate offices run a firewall which can block streaming media from coming in. If you have Windows Media configured, you maybe able to use the embedded media player on the webpage. Contact your Systems Administrator if you have any question about how to configure your Media Player.

  • What your IP address and port number for the live feed.: Currently the IP address and port number is http://tmmcast.no-ip.org:8000/listen.pls

  • When I click on the Scanner image a box opens says, "You have chosen to download a file": Click on "Open file from current location".  Then click "OK" It will open your default player and connect to the live feed.

  • I have Windows Media Player (XP) and I still can not get the scanner to work?: We have found this registry tweak from Registry Guide for Windows will help.

    Change the MP3 Encoding Rates in Media Player (All Windows) By creating theses setting in your registry Windows Media Player will be able to connect to are feed at a lower bit rate. Presently we are streaming at 16kbps, so set the "LowRate" at "16000".

    Please Remember to back-up your Registry before making any changes.
